Can confirm this definitely works. You need to download this and the update, and you need some type of custom firmware to make it Region Free. I used Mocha CFW. Follow this guide for details: https://github.com/FlimFlam69/WiiUTutorial/wiki

Works flawlessly with Mocha on my WII U. Loadiine is way too slow for this size of a game. I'd highly recommend using Mocha, much smoother. Runs better than the actual disc itself.
